Why €29 per year?
Because Tannin doesn't sell a database or advertising. It works for your cellar, bottle by bottle.
AI reads your labels
Every photo is analyzed by AI. Estate, cuvée, vintage, appellation, grape varieties: the record fills in by itself, and the bottle cutout is done right away.
Your cellar value, updated
Tannin looks up the market price of every wine, cites its sources, and updates the value of your whole cellar every month. You follow your gains without opening a single auction site.
A report for your insurer
Dated inventory, photos, slots, and value for each bottle, in PDF. When you need to prove what you owned, everything is ready.

A single bottle for aging forgotten at the back of a rack, opened three years too late, often costs more than a yearly subscription. An insurance loss without an inventory costs even more. Tannin is designed for cellars that matter: cellars you insure, pass down, and want to drink at their best.
If you prefer to keep control over AI costs, the free version accepts your own API key. You only pay for what you use, directly to the AI provider, and all features remain available.

Can I stay on the free plan?
Yes, with no time limit and no credit card required. The free version includes all cellar management: racks, records, drinking windows, tasting notes, import and export, and sharing. Only AI features require either your own API key or the Enthusiast subscription.
What is an API key and how do I get one?
This is a personal identifier that you create with the provider of the AI model used by Tannin. The link and instructions are provided in the app settings. You paste it once into Tannin. Each label scan or value estimation is then billed directly by this provider based on usage, typically a few cents.
What is the difference between Free and Enthusiast?
The same app, the same data. With Enthusiast, AI is included: nothing to configure and no extra fees, and the value of your entire cellar updates automatically every month. Generate the insurance report in one click.
Can I change my plan at any time?
Yes. You can switch from Free to Enthusiast in seconds, and return to Free whenever you want. Your racks, records, and history remain intact.
What happens if I cancel?
Your account switches back to the free plan at the end of the paid year. Nothing is deleted. You can also export your entire cellar to CSV at any time and take it elsewhere.
How much is the professional plan?
The Professional plan is €99.99 excl. VAT per year. It includes everything in Enthusiast, a compliant wine list in your colors, list prices and markup, margin and sales in statistics.
Is there a monthly plan?
Not for now. The Enthusiast subscription is annual, paid in one go, and can be canceled at any time: it is then not renewed at the next due date, and you keep access until the end of the paid year.
