Software for wine merchants and wine bars

Your stock, organized by slot, with an up-to-date valuation.

Tannin Pro keeps your shop's cellar inventory bottle by bottle: each reference in its slot, the stock value at purchase and selling price, and the margin at a glance. For wine bars, the compliant wine list is generated from stock.

Who it is for

Three professions, one need: knowing what is in the cellar.

Wine merchants

Hundreds of references, weekly deliveries, and an annual inventory that takes a full Sunday. Tannin keeps the stock up to date with every addition and removal, and knows which rack holds the last bottle of a vintage.

Wine bars

Wines by the glass at the top of the list, with volume and sulfite information. A markup sets all prices at once, and the list follows stock: an out-of-stock wine disappears on the next print run.

Delicatessens and restaurant cellars

A wine section alongside other products, or a restaurant cellar managed separately: Tannin isolates your wine, values it, and generates your wine list, with no need to change your POS.

How it works

From delivery to sale, in three steps.

1

Enter incoming bottles

One label photo per reference, or import of the supplier invoice in Excel. Tannin creates the record with estate, appellation, vintage, bottle size, and purchase price, and you place the bottles in their racks.

2

Set your prices

A markup on the purchase price across the whole stock, then an exact price wherever you want. Margin excluding VAT and average markup appear in your statistics.

3

Sell, and let the inventory follow

A bottle sold with one tap, or by saying "sold two Morgon". The slot clears, the valuation updates, and the bar's wine list stays accurate.

What Tannin Pro provides

Beyond inventory.

Stock valuation

Track the value of your cellar at purchase and selling price at any time, by reference, region, and color. For your balance sheet, for insurance, for yourself.

Paperless inventory

No more checklists rack by rack: your cellar is already in the app, with the location of every bottle. Inventory becomes a check, not data entry.

The compliant wine list

For the bar or tasting area: denomination, volume, price incl. VAT and service, wines without geographical indication listed separately, sulfite notice. Printed in A4 in your colors.

FAQ

Wine merchants and wine bars: what people ask us.

Does Tannin replace my cash register?

No. Tannin manages the cellar, valuation, and wine list; your POS handles sales. The CSV export lets you reconcile the two, and we are looking into integrations with common POS systems.

How many references can I manage?

No limit on references. The Pro plan is €99.99 excl. VAT per year.

Can my sales staff use Tannin?

Yes. Each invited user has their own access, read-only or editing, on their own phone.

Is the wine list really compliant?

It includes the details required in France: denomination, volume, price in euros incl. VAT and service, wines without geographical indication listed separately, and sulfite information for by-the-glass service. It does not replace legal advice.

Can I import my current inventory?

Yes, from Excel or CSV, all at once. Standard columns are recognized, and you can check a preview before importing.

What is the price?

€99.99 excl. VAT per year. Includes everything in Enthusiast, the wine list, prices and markup, margin and sales in statistics.

This information summarizes French regulations and does not replace legal advice.
